Hebrews 10:32-34 “But remember the former days, when, after being enlightened, you endured a great conflict of sufferings, partly by being made a public spectacle through reproaches and tribulations, and partly by becoming sharers with those who were so treated. For you showed sympathy to the prisoners and accepted joyfully the seizure of your property, knowing that you have for yourselves a better possession and a lasting one.”
Christians in America are in great need to awaken from the slumber that prosperity and ease have lulled us into. Throughout the world and especially in the Middle East, Christians pay a tremendous price for their confession of Christ.
Christian Asia Bibi who lives in Pakistan has been found guilty of committing blasphemy against Islam and a Pakistani Islamic cleric has offered a reward of $6,000 to anyone who kills Asia who has been in prison since June of 2009.
